Blog post:When words don't come easily

You're seated and stare at the screen, have your nth mug of coffee and then nothing, nada, rien! Maybe the music is too loud, children are playing noisily, there are clothes to be hanged but you want to write something(personal situation here). It has been a week and all the New Year photos are becoming familiar to your visitors. So what to do? It's not that there is nothing to write about,in fact there are loads of them. Lurking behind but can't seem to be put into words. Goodness, will there still be visitors? So you blog hop, blog hop and then you ralized that's 3AM and oopps time to bed.

Frustrating isn't it?But let's face the reality that we all have different pre-occupations. A SAHM with 2 toddlers has a different concern and that goes to someone who is self-employed. And whether you're a student,in the BPO industry,or a 9 to 5ers, we all want to put our ideas into words, have visitors, get comments and eventually be successful in blogging.

Others may have other agenda, they only want to post their everyday situation , cute photos and personal experiences but I think everyone starts like this and when others successfully turned their blogging into a financially rewarding activity, there's a sudden urge to do the same. Their success, which we want to duplicate, is an inspiration, something which stimulates us to be better in what we are doing.

So what to do when ideas don't turn into words easily? Don't let it pass but put the ideas into writing. You can always use them in the future when you're more relax. Go for a walk and snap everything which interest you. My photos give me ideas. In the meantime enjoy blog hopping, there's so many sites which are truly amazing. Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself.(this is me talking to myself) :)

That's a really sound advice! Like musicians who always have their recorder, or photographers who always have their cameras... for people who bank on their ideas, they should have something handy so when ideas pops up -- they can write them down...

Thanks for the visit and for the comment! God bless.

I so agree with you Mayet. Sometimes when household chore, blogging, and all other stuff come together I feel a Tsunami just hit my already overloaded brain lol!! My camera and a little walk makes me feel renewed. Have a good day!

We're in the same situation. I feel like I have lots to talk about on my blog but when the time comes and I am in front of my computer, I can't do anything but to look at a blank space so I ended up bloghopping.

I always take pictures too... It gives me inspiration, ideas, and something to look at weeks, months from now. Parang I feel different after looking at them... literal na it brings back memory yung feeling. ^^

Thanks for the advice, Mayet. I know I'm not a good writer, sometimes it's hard for me to write down words.
If it happens, my camera is a great helper :)

Most of the time, I find it hard to write a post but with the help of my photos, I can gather ideas to start with. Kaya lang my camera is not really a good one. How I wish I can afford to buy DSLR..

Nice post, Mayet and thank you for sharing.
I spend all my spare time blog hopping! As in nakaka-addict,I want to stop pero sige pa rin.

When my brain cells don´t function, I usually post a lot of photos on my post. So alam mo na kung alin yung mga posts na medyo, pwede na rin. hahaha!

Have a nice day, Mayet! ;)

I really like this one. Thank you for sharing. I am that way sometimes and can't put my thoughts into words. There are too many things to do and don't know where else to start. I too love blog hopping and see what other people has come up with and what other ideas they've shared. Visiting you again, mommy Mayet!

Our mid-week get away in Dijon

Dijon, one of the cities in France, was the destination of our mid-week get away. The city, which is well known for its mustard,is a 3-hour train ride from Genève via Lausanne. As I've mentioned in my previous post ,this was my first time to visit the city. We arrived mid-day to a gloomy surrounding and headed to Quick, sort of Jollibee here. Yet,the real treat was in the old town. Walking on the paved street for me was like being transported to another era. Aside from Musée des Beaux-Arts Dijon, we were able to visit Cathédrale de Saint Bénigne and the Notre Dame de Dijon. However, due to time constraint we were not able to visit other places. Our evening meal was in Le Théâtre des Sens, a small but cozy restaurant and where I've tried escargot. Yes, I did and blame it on the kir! Our dinner was really good, the waiter was very cheery and accomodating. We stayed at the Hotel Des Ducs where we spent the rest of the night watching crime scene investigation. Ah! the joy of havin

Light in the sky

For a long time I am fascinated by the sky, but this has been fuelled up when I joined Sky Watch Friday . I am really thankful for this!
