Blogging to the max

My title is misleading coz I'm not doing any writing for about a week now. After my weekend with my Karen and some friends home obligation is my priority and keeping up with the demands of everyday life is just overwhelming--the reason for me not to concentrate here. So why that title? For the simplest reason that I can't think of anything and it's my wish to do that. For now, I will just have to content myself to write this silly explanation that doesn't seem to change whenever there's a wide gap of blog posting, whenever I can't visit those bloggers who came and commented and left message on my CBox.

My only wish is to be able to concentrate on my homework and not get stress coz I only have two weeks to finish it. Nevertheless, I am thankful for everything today- for the girls who need my attention, the finished laundry and the clean toilet. Ah! isn't life wonderful?

Life is indeed wonderful.

That's fine, Mayet. There's more to life than blogging and offline tasks are more demanding than the online ones.

Take your time and we will still be here when you get back online :-)

Our mid-week get away in Dijon

Dijon, one of the cities in France, was the destination of our mid-week get away. The city, which is well known for its mustard,is a 3-hour train ride from Genève via Lausanne. As I've mentioned in my previous post ,this was my first time to visit the city. We arrived mid-day to a gloomy surrounding and headed to Quick, sort of Jollibee here. Yet,the real treat was in the old town. Walking on the paved street for me was like being transported to another era. Aside from Musée des Beaux-Arts Dijon, we were able to visit Cathédrale de Saint Bénigne and the Notre Dame de Dijon. However, due to time constraint we were not able to visit other places. Our evening meal was in Le Théâtre des Sens, a small but cozy restaurant and where I've tried escargot. Yes, I did and blame it on the kir! Our dinner was really good, the waiter was very cheery and accomodating. We stayed at the Hotel Des Ducs where we spent the rest of the night watching crime scene investigation. Ah! the joy of havin

Light in the sky
