Winnie the Pooh and snoring hubby

Lovely sunny day but we are all here inside the house. Hubby is snoring like....,Karen's into Princess and the frog, the tiny one is running here and there, babbling and sometimes humming along with the Winnie the Pooh musical book. So here I am typing whatever comes to my mind. I really don't want to go out. I have my homework to revise and it's really making me so stress plus the fact that I'm trying to plan our wkend.

I am off to verbier this wkend with my eldest and some girlfriends. One of them will ski with her kids and the rest of us will just sip some hot chocolates and let the afternoon pass by. Yeah, it sounds so relaxing and I am really looking forward to that!

So back to my homework, did I tell you about my distance course learning? I'm trying to finish my medical secretarial course this year. It looks so easy but time management is not. I want to concentrate and persevere and work hard and all that stuff. Just to be able to finish but I am not doing any of it. If I could just snap my fingers like that and find myself all done with my course. Isn't that easy?

Fairy godmother wanted here!!!

That would be a fun weekend, Mayet. Here, it is getting warmer and going to the beach is not my type but the kids love it. So we are planning to head off to the beach again this weekend.

Good luck then! I am sure you can do it.

Hugs to you.

I wonder...

How can I stop looking up the sky? With it's beauty that never ceases to amaze me.

Our mid-week get away in Dijon

Dijon, one of the cities in France, was the destination of our mid-week get away. The city, which is well known for its mustard,is a 3-hour train ride from Genève via Lausanne. As I've mentioned in my previous post ,this was my first time to visit the city. We arrived mid-day to a gloomy surrounding and headed to Quick, sort of Jollibee here. Yet,the real treat was in the old town. Walking on the paved street for me was like being transported to another era. Aside from Musée des Beaux-Arts Dijon, we were able to visit Cathédrale de Saint Bénigne and the Notre Dame de Dijon. However, due to time constraint we were not able to visit other places. Our evening meal was in Le Théâtre des Sens, a small but cozy restaurant and where I've tried escargot. Yes, I did and blame it on the kir! Our dinner was really good, the waiter was very cheery and accomodating. We stayed at the Hotel Des Ducs where we spent the rest of the night watching crime scene investigation. Ah! the joy of havin

Light in the sky

For a long time I am fascinated by the sky, but this has been fuelled up when I joined Sky Watch Friday . I am really thankful for this!
