Nanay's morning challenge

The warmth of the house is a welcome relief to my numbed feet. Taking my boots off, I promised myself to get a new pair real soon coz I don't think that the frosty weather will be gone soon (I'm still in the dreamland!). It stopped snowing, though and as usual I could not restrain myself from admiring the surrounding. The downside of it all is the difficulty to walk. Plus trying to navigate the pushchair after two days of snowing is really a challenged. This made me so impatient towards Ms.K :( She was so excited about the prospect of walking under a 40 cm snow. While all I wanted to do was get to the end of the driveway. It was a hurdle but we made it after sweating profusely and lots of coaxing.

I hope to be better, to be more patient and understanding. But I forget. Why do I always overlook the fact that little girls want to have fun.

Guilt is not easy to deal with.

I don't like snow and am glad it hasn't started here yet.

Let it snow, let it snow--man!

The rasta-inspired creation of my hubby and Ms.K After loads of rolling here and there, it's done. Our first snowman of the season.;)It might not last long and will surely lose its precious eyes by tomorrow, but for now let's enjoy that smile. This reminds me of something, I just can't put my finger on it. Hmmm, do you have any idea? Think...think...! Eh-oh! Smile, it's Monday!

Vacation over

It's kinda hard to get up early again after 2 weeks of staying up late.I've started taking the girls early to bed and of course, they're awake at around 6h30. My husband on the other hand has started working and I think he misses his late mornings. Now it's back to normal sched again. Now, I'm lazily doing my chores and still hoping that my mug of coffee will take effect soon. How do you get back to normal routine after weeks of vacation?
