Reflection

As I close my eyes and think about something to write, to fill up the space and maybe be read by others my thoughts went to lesson learned this morning,or the time when I cry while watching Jim Rohn's tribute just before I went out to fetch my daughter. Thankful for the sun this afternoon, the slight coldness didn't matter. And the bell rung just as I arrive. My daughter was jumping with joy--"it's almost spring!! almost spring!!"

Good morning

My morning varies from day to day, it can be light, overwhelming or even challenging. This will all depend on how my girls behave from the moment they wake up till the time they are both attach to the chariot. I recently started to change my mood and applied my little sister's approach. As I wake them up, my litany of how lovely the morning is echoed around the house, adding a bit of exaggeration which makes me cringe sometimes. Is this me?  But it helps, there's less whining and less stress for me. The girls seemed to be in doubt about their Nanay but we're all getting there--a hassle-free morning.

Get me down!

my niece and nephews They are growing so fast. Three of them have Facebook accounts which is why my timeline is sometimes loaded with Koreans I don't even know. They are a bunch whom I really miss and looking at their pictures which Mama took during her recent vacation made me smile and sometimes laugh---just like this one.

Snow and little smiling mouse

It's still cold here and the snow is slowly melting. Our pile of wood for the fire place is gradually diminishing, so I can't wait for spring...but being inside the house, sitting on our old green sofa, watching the fire and feeling the warmth that envelops our room is just heavenly. I'd like to keep this feeling especially in the early morning...when I take the girls to school on my bike. Oh, well...spring is almost here anyway.(ALMOST!!)
