Unusually me!!

First and foremost, I should confess that red meat isn't in the top list of my favorite food but hubby wanted to eat some for dinner. So he grilled them and then put the two slices in the oven for some minutes. With red rice and mustard, he had his steak rare. I couldn't really eat meat like that so I had to grill mine again but unlike my husband I had prepared my dip--- fish sauce, lemon and some Tabasco. Well, I usually like mustard but this time I have to have my own concoction, lovingly sprinkling it ,too,in my plate of rice. Heaven!! Tonight I have done a shameful act against the community of steak lover. I am guilty! Sorry but dipping my steak in fish sauce was just something I can't resist!! ;)

Lila/Violet

They are lovely to look at specially during spring but lupin are poisonous to cows. That's why they should be cut, and uprooted otherwise these plants will grow again. Pinoy movies in Genève

I heard from the radio that there would be some Philippine movies to be shown here in Genève as a part of Black Movie Film Festival . The festival would run from 30 January to 8 February. The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveiros is among them --I would love to see that-- and my husband expressed his eagerness to come with me. I have e-mailed some friends and hopefully they, too, can watch.

Face painting in the morning

She still needs more practicing on eating alone, but she is having a tremendous time so I let her be on her "face painting".

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
(or something like that)

I love thee when you keep the radio's volume soft, when you arrange your school papers in a neat stack. I love thee when you take the empty bottles down the garbage, I love thee when you remember that Wednesday is the paper day and when you empty your ashtray. I love thee when you leave the kitchen table clean and when you wipe the spilt coffee from our just washed kitchen sink. I love thee when you put your clothes in the washing, when you dry your feet before going out the bathroom after bathing. I love thee when you keep your shoes in the shoe rack and when you put things back I love thee when you keep the bar spic and span and when you close the cupboard when you get what you want. I love thee even when I am out of breath, taking the stairs with baby K in my arms, smile... this I ought not to forget for wrinkles appear every now and then. So remember dear, I truly love thee... sometimes I just don't want to count the ways :)
