Life as I imagine

What will you do if you end up in a chalet, where you wake up every morning with the view of snow-capped mountain, the fire place filled with burning wood keeps you warm. All the while you wait for your hot chocolate to cool a bit, you munch on your buttered baguette and you smile thinking how life can be this awfully good! Yeah, but wait till the kids wake up--all 9 of them. This is what awaits me and the rest of 4 couples for our week-long vacation. Wish us luck;) You might also like: Wishing I was 10 years old again Life in my dreamland Here I am again!! Family funday! Howzat

Just like Winnie the Pooh

I want to be like him today. Smiling...even if Erin's sick and hasn't been sleeping well for two nights now. Or despite the fact that my computer is under repair. This post is actually done using my hubby's which he doesn't like coz there were times when his computer got virus because of me. My friends, I will visit you, that I promise so see you around.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... (or something like that)

I love thee when you keep the radio's volume soft, when you arrange your school papers in a neat stack. I love thee when you take the empty bottles down the garbage, I love thee when you remember that Wednesday is the paper day and when you empty your ashtray. I love thee when you leave the kitchen table clean and when you wipe the spilt coffee from our just washed kitchen sink. I love thee when you put your clothes in the washing, when you dry your feet before going out the bathroom after bathing. I love thee when you keep your shoes in the shoe rack and when you put things back I love thee when you keep the bar spic and span and when you close the cupboard when you get what you want. I love thee even when I am out of breath, taking the stairs with baby K in my arms, smile... this I ought not to forget for wrinkles appear every now and then. So remember dear, I truly love thee... sometimes I just don't want to count the ways :) reprinted from Jan 5, 2009 blo...

My phone and I

My recent phone bill made me cringed all the way to the post office. I've kept asking myself how I managed to have phoned mindlessly, not thinking of the consequences. Unlike most people, my phone is not really my world. In fact my day doesn't revolve around it though I keep it in my bag whenever I go out. Having our land line is enough for me. But it's handy to have one, just in case there's no phone booth around the corner or when I remember to phone someone just to say hello while in the tram. Eventually all these calls add up to one hefty sum and it's at the end of the month when this painful realization happens. I sincerely promised myself to be more sensible about using my phone. Paying an enormous amount for my phone bill is the last thing I want to do at the end of the month. You might also like: ...new found love? I'm not the nanny, I'm the Nanay! Hey, little sistah! Eva Longoria's new man

Do you ever find yourself at 1:30 am in front of the computer and reading celebrity news? I should be sleeping now coz tomorrow or rather later would be a hectic one, but here I am trying to catch up on the latest gossip! There are so many reasons not to do this but I am glue in here. From Sharon Cuneta to Eva Longoria's new man. This should stop because I need to divert my energy to a more serious matter like going to bed and taking my eldest to garderie early in the morning. So what if Eva has a new guy in her life!but man, he's gorgeous and young. You might also like: and I need a new pair of shoes!!! Destination - - Paris, France Retiring with Papa Piolo? Dora,Dora the Explorer!

There it is again, Dora's theme song, in my head! Our household is currently inundated with Dora, the Explorer and my eldest decided that she is Dora and her sister is Boots. These days, she prefers to call me Mami and her father Papi. I'm wondering whom she'll call as Swiper. Now that she'll start to learn to ski, we are looking for inexpensive materials she'll need and Dora is not intended to be a part of it until Karen saw it, tucked discreetly among the others. We're sensible parents and usually don't give in...but this one was also on sale. Yeah, I know, I'm trying not to feel bad coz the others cost cheaper!! This is Dora's fault ;) You might also like: Imortal invades my home One quiet moment Trials and thread Watch the rice closely! Howzat

Time for everything

A friend ask my mom why it had to happen and the latter has no immediate response for her. You see she lost her father three days ago. Her aching heart and weary mind could not understand it all. As we gather by her side this afternoon all we can offer her is the thought that he's doing better now with the Lord. No more suffering or pain but peace and love from the Father. Her heart might not have have the answer she's longing for right now but there's time for everything. You might also like: Kanluran/West I wonder... Pilak/Silver Sunset 2 Howzat
