Life at 50 Project

Capetown 2019

This year, I am turning 50 years old. A daunting thought not because I am scared about ageing but time flies so fast. As if I have nothing to show for it. This is why I decided to make this year a productive one and made a plan called #Life@50Project where I will do what my soul whispers into my being. I am trusting that inner voice which have been ignored for the longest time.
More of doing and no more waiting. And though health issue may sometimes gets in the way and slow me down, I will  listen to my body and soldier on. This is not procrastination but the start of inner healing. There's a long way to go but this ol' village girl is getting there. Nonetheless, the ONE up there is my ally.

There's Podcast project, knitting, brush lettering/art and of course, vlogging. More and language learning. There's also the driving lesson and eventually passing my driver's permit.
I'm turning 50 and in between jobs. Finding one is also at the top of the list besides retirement is just around the corner. Finances should be fine tuned. And I know that the Universe is aligning everything for me to experience the abundance that is rightfully mine.

Though there are times that the future worries me, I want to live and experience NOW. TODAY...The PRESENT.

And you my dear family and friends are a part of it. Thank you for your kindness and love to this oldie locks.

Vacation over

It's kinda hard to get up early again after 2 weeks of staying up late.I've started taking the girls early to bed and of course, they're awake at around 6h30. My husband on the other hand has started working and I think he misses his late mornings. Now it's back to normal sched again. Now, I'm lazily doing my chores and still hoping that my mug of coffee will take effect soon. How do you get back to normal routine after weeks of vacation? Our mid-week get away in Dijon

Dijon, one of the cities in France, was the destination of our mid-week get away. The city, which is well known for its mustard,is a 3-hour train ride from Genève via Lausanne. As I've mentioned in my previous post ,this was my first time to visit the city. We arrived mid-day to a gloomy surrounding and headed to Quick, sort of Jollibee here. Yet,the real treat was in the old town. Walking on the paved street for me was like being transported to another era. Aside from Musée des Beaux-Arts Dijon, we were able to visit Cathédrale de Saint Bénigne and the Notre Dame de Dijon. However, due to time constraint we were not able to visit other places. Our evening meal was in Le Théâtre des Sens, a small but cozy restaurant and where I've tried escargot. Yes, I did and blame it on the kir! Our dinner was really good, the waiter was very cheery and accomodating. We stayed at the Hotel Des Ducs where we spent the rest of the night watching crime scene investigation. Ah! the joy of havin...

Let it snow, let it snow--man!

The rasta-inspired creation of my hubby and Ms.K After loads of rolling here and there, it's done. Our first snowman of the season.;)It might not last long and will surely lose its precious eyes by tomorrow, but for now let's enjoy that smile. This reminds me of something, I just can't put my finger on it. Hmmm, do you have any idea? Think...think...! Eh-oh! Smile, it's Monday!
