Imortal invades my home

A special thanks to My CHOS for letting me use the above photo. Just click on the photo to see more of John Lloyd and Angel Locsin.

Recently, I have been smiling a lot because of John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. This is after I have discovered Imortal one fine afternoon when the girls were having their nap and Nanay was having her quiet moment.

Many viewers have compared the series to Twilight which I haven't seen yet. Yes, I might be the only soul who has not seen the film though I &hearts Robert Pattinson's eyes. Maybe soon, when I've got the time.

Anyway, back to Imortal and John Lloyd Cruz--yes, this is my new fave tv series. I look forward every night for my girls to go to bed so that I can watch Imortal in peace. There are times when I just watch a week of the series on Fridays. This saves me time and I got to do something else. There's only one thing which frustrates me--nobody to share my "kilig Imortal" moments with.

Now,please excuse me if I act like a teenager but it feels good and being 40 is not an excuse .

Hi there Mayet! Thanks for stopping by. It has been a long time since I have not seen any Pinoy shows or movies. I should really get me a TLC subscription. I miss a lot of things already. Anyway, happy new year!

Aha, so you're another converted - to the "Immortal" saga that is. My friends back in the Philippines are die-hard fans of these telenovela series. I don't know, but I don't seem to gravitate towards TV series except for Glee...hehehehe.

Don't worry, you're not alone. I have not watched any of the Twilight movies neither :)

Here's wishing you and your family a happy 2011 as well. God Bless always!

Hugs,
Ria C

Nako, it's okay if you haven't seen any Twilight movies yet. If I were you, it's much better if you wont. Read the books instead. They're way better than the movies. :)

I wonder...

How can I stop looking up the sky? With it's beauty that never ceases to amaze me.

Our mid-week get away in Dijon

Dijon, one of the cities in France, was the destination of our mid-week get away. The city, which is well known for its mustard,is a 3-hour train ride from Genève via Lausanne. As I've mentioned in my previous post ,this was my first time to visit the city. We arrived mid-day to a gloomy surrounding and headed to Quick, sort of Jollibee here. Yet,the real treat was in the old town. Walking on the paved street for me was like being transported to another era. Aside from Musée des Beaux-Arts Dijon, we were able to visit Cathédrale de Saint Bénigne and the Notre Dame de Dijon. However, due to time constraint we were not able to visit other places. Our evening meal was in Le Théâtre des Sens, a small but cozy restaurant and where I've tried escargot. Yes, I did and blame it on the kir! Our dinner was really good, the waiter was very cheery and accomodating. We stayed at the Hotel Des Ducs where we spent the rest of the night watching crime scene investigation. Ah! the joy of havin

Light in the sky
